2026 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention & Caucus Window Announced

Democrats from across the Commonwealth will gather in Worcester for the 2026 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention, taking place Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, at the DCU Center. Delegates, activists, and community leaders from every corner of Massachusetts will come together to formally consider statewide Democratic candidates and begin charting the path toward victory in 2026.

Worcester, at the heart of the Commonwealth, has a long history of Democratic organizing and grassroots leadership. That spirit will be on full display as thousands of Democrats unite for two days of organizing, decision-making, and collective action. This will be a nominating convention and an important moment to build momentum heading into the 2026 election cycle.

The caucus window for the 2026 Democratic State Convention has now been officially announced. Democratic caucuses will take place between Thursday, February 19, and Sunday, March 22, 2026. At its January 10 meeting, the Holliston Democratic Town Committee will be selecting the date for the Holliston Democratic Caucus. The meeting will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holliston Town Hall. All Democrats interested in getting active, learning more about the caucus process, or considering a run for delegate or alternate are encouraged to attend.

Holliston will elect 10 delegates and 4 alternates to represent the town at the 2026 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention. Additional opportunities will be available for add-on delegates in designated categories, consistent with state party rules.

Learn more about caucus procedures, timelines, and delegate selection on the MassDems website. For questions, or to get involved, contact HDTC Chair Cynthia Burrow.

We look forward to seeing Holliston Democrats engaged locally and representing our community in Worcester in May 2026.
